Education / Training Program

The focus of our club’s education program is “members teaching members.” Our members enjoy freely sharing their knowledge and expertise with other members – this is how we all learn and become better photographers. We offer a broad variety of opportunities to learn at your own pace and your own level of proficiency.

Examples of our education offerings are:

  • "Foto Focus” discussions held before the General Meeting each month on a variety of photography related topics.
  • Classes held in person or via zoom on a wide range of topics covering photography, photo processing, and photo gear.
  • “Peer to Peer” meetings each month – you can participate in person or via zoom.
  • Photo Critique Sessions offered (via zoom) to provide feedback and suggestions about your images.
  • "User" groups that provide a forum for discussion about camera systems.
  • A mentorship program for members seeking individual guidance and/or advice on any photography-related topic.

In addition, our “Learning Lab,” which can be found on the club website, offers a rich library of recorded trainings and other programs for members’ use.
