FCCC Honors Top Competition Winners: F.E.P.A. Award

Florida Excellence in Photographic Arts (F.E.P.A.) Award

The Florida Excellence in Photographic Arts (F.E.P.A.) Award recognizes outstanding achievements in the Florida Camera Club Council (FCCC) Competitions. Beginning in 2018, any member registered in a photography club in the state of Florida, who earns 12 blue ribbons or more in FCCC competitions, will receive this award.

This is the most prestigious award the FCCC gives and has only been given to 31 members in our state as of August 2024!

As a testament to the quality of photography LWRDPC members have achieved, nine of the awarded 31 members are in our club.

LWRDPC members who have received this award are:

• Jim Brady - 3 Gold Stars, 56 Blue Ribbons
• Frank Forward - 2 Gold Stars, 46 Blue Ribbons
• Susan Beausang  - 1 Gold Star, 31 Blue Ribbons
• Susan Piper  - 1 Gold Star, 29 Blue Ribbons
• Ana Bowers  - 1 Gold Star, 27 Blue Ribbons
• Reena Walkling  - 1 Gold Star, 20 Blue Ribbons
• Bobbie Ray  - 14 Blue Ribbons
• Jane Lyons - 13 Blue Ribbons
• Gunilla Imhaug - 12 Blue Ribbons
• Susan Poirier  - 12 Blue Ribbons

Blue Ribbon Winners are also awarded a gold star for each additional 12 blue ribbons.

Jim Brady has received three gold stars indicating he has been awarded over 48 blue ribbons, in fact, 50.

Frank Forward has received two gold stars, indicating he has received over 36 blue ribbons, in fact, 39.

Susan Beausang has received one gold star, indicating she has received over 24 blue ribbons, in fact, 29.
