What to Expect:
Join the LWR Community for a fun filled morning of:
* The longest-running Egg Hunt in Lakewood Ranch
* Face painting
* Bounce House + Bricks4kidz interactive booth
* Photo ops with the Easter Bunny
* Food and Drink Vendors
* Live DJ
* And much more!
The egg hunt begins at 10:30 AM for all age groups.
LWRDPC members have been invited to participate as photographers for this event.
This is a great opportunity to get some practice in “event and street photography” as well as provide a benefit to the community. Afterwards, you will be asked to provide a few of your digital photographs to the LWR Community Activities and Events group. We recommend that you include your signature watermark on your photos as they may be published through the Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Media sites.
Please wear your LWRDPC ID lanyard, indicating that you are a photographer for the event, and check in at the LWR Activities tent upon arrival.
Directions and Parking: Waterside Park at 7301 Island Cove Terrace, Lakewood Ranch can be accessed via Deer Drive, South of University Parkway, or by following Lakewood Ranch Blvd and turning south onto Deer Drive. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Pine Warbler Place. Your destination will be on the left. There are multiple parking areas near the park. Cross over the walking bridge to access the egg hunt area.
Suggested Equipment:
- Camera (Mirrorless, DSLR or even Cellphone)
- 24-70, 70-300 or similar lens
- Polarizer Filter
- Water
- Hat / Sunscreen
- Portable Chair (optional)
Weather Contingency; In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, we will notify those who registered by 6pm on Friday, March 27th.
