Topic: Learn About the Photo Pill Appwith Bill Carlos

Bill will provide a basic introduction to the PhotoPills app to align landmarks/subjects with the sun, moon, stars, and Milky Way. In addition to showing legendary photos taken with the app, we’ll cover an overview and introduction to its use. We will walk through the use of the elements to plan your own legendary photos.

Topic: Shining a Light on Black and White!

This presentation will begin with the elements of making great black and white images. And then we will dabble in “High Key” and “Low Key” photography. There will be definitions, examples, and how-to’s. You will come away with an understanding of the similarities and differences between these different types of monochrome photography and be inspired to go out and experiment yourself!

Christine Cook's Bio
After a career in Education as teacher, administrator and curriculum specialist, Christine turned full-time to photography. It has taken her around the world to different landscapes, animals, flowers and cultures. She teaches many topics in photography. Christine also developed and teaches a photography judge certification program in Florida.

Christine is on the board of the Florida Camera Club Council where she is Director of Digital Competition, and the DPI-SIG Naples Digital Photography Club in Naples, Florida where she is Director of the Women’s Workshop and Image Critique Forum.
