Maria's Bio:
Maria Lyle is a commercial photographer based in Sarasota. Originally from Santiago, Chile (in case you hear a funny accent)...
Since early on, she had a passion for photography when a family friend brought her a little 126 Kodak Instamatic camera and she went a little nutty. She drove her school friends crazy by sneaking around and waiting for them to do something fun and interesting to take a snap of them.
She has been fortunate enough to have followed her dreams as a photographer. Besides photography, Maria enjoys learning other languages, painting, drawing, playing the saxophone, guitar, and travel.
Maria worked as the staff photographer for Sarasota Memorial Hospital in 1995, for 5.5 years, and while still using film she converted the studio into digital. Learned computers, both Mac and PC computers simultaneously. Also learned Photoshop 3, Word, Excel and several other programs. Little did she know that this was the door opening to her digital future. Sarasota Memorial Hospital is held in a little spot in her heart.
Her desire for knowledge set her up for her future studio, which she opened in April 2003 making her last 19 years in the same location. Maria's studio provides a range in photographic services from Medical, Editorial, Interior/Exteriors, Corporate Portraits, to Family Portraits, Pet Portraits, Seniors, even Passports for international clients, and just about anything a client may need. She is serious about her work but can be very candid with her clients in order to get the best image possible.
