5:00 PM: Foto Focus Discussion: Introduction to Flash
Dave Kurshan will lead a discussion about using flash - both on-camera and off-camera flash. He will talk about camera settings for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. This will be a discussion so bring your flash questions. If you wish, bring your camera and flash unit!
Gear Swap Table at our July Meeting: Have you accumulated gear that you don't use but someone else might like? We will be hosting a swap table at this meeting. This is not for equipment you would like to sell (we may be able to offer that another time), this is for accessories or other items you want to get out of the house and into someone else's hands for free. Just bring it with you and drop it on the table before the meeting.

Topic: “Satisfying the Mind’s Eye: Photo Capture is Primary"
This will be an interactive discussion with pictures to show how I arrive at the final image. Robert will use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to demonstrate the process.
Robert will cover topics relating to Landscape, Nature, Candid, Studio and Street Photography.

Robert Rostick's Bio:
After moving to Tampa to get closer to the Gulf of Mexico beaches and seeking a smaller city to raise his young children, Robert founded theROSTICKgroup Commercial Photography and Digital Photography Training in 2003. Having been a successful commercial photographer in Atlanta and a photography instructor at The Portfolio Center and The Creative Circus, Robert merged his gifts for both photographic execution and effective communication about imaging at tRg Studio.
With his trademark humor, high expectations for himself and others and unyielding support for students, Robert has become a much sought-after judge, critic, workshop facilitator and instructor around Tampa Bay including Dunedin Fine Arts Center and Hillsborough Community College. His vision is to help others master the technical aspects of photography so that they can more easily share their creative vision with the world. While a business owner with an expertise in digital photography,
Robert frequently seeks community with other photographers, from amateur to professional. He currently serves as the Education Director of the Tampa Bay Camera Club.
Location: Grace Community Church, 4080 Lakewood Ranch Blvd N. Use the church entrance immediately behind the children's playground.
The public is invited. There is a $10 fee for non-members that will be applied to your membership dues if you join our photography club. Non-members do not need to register.
