AI (Artificial Intelligence) in Photography: New Special Interest Group!

We’re excited to announce the formation of a new Special Interest Group (SIG) focused on Artificial Intelligence in Photography.

August Assignment: Choose one or more of the following options.

1. Alternate Reality Challenge: Transform one of your own images into a completely different reality - same composition, new world.
e.g. Narnia, steampunk, post-apocalyptic, frozen ice age, futuristic city, underwater kingdom

2. If This Scene Were... (Complete the sentence.)
e.g. painted by Monet, a Ghibli film, an Art Deco poster, National Geographic cover, illuminated fantasy novel

3. AI Restraint Challenge: The opposite of "go crazy." Can you edit so subtly no one's sure AI was used?
e.g. enhance atmosphere, improve light, remove distractions

4. Famous Movie Set: Turn your image into a scene from an imaginary film (inspired by, not copied).
e.g. Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, Jurassic Park

Below are the goals of our previous Videography SIG. Please review so we can discuss at the meeting.

The Videography Group's purpose is to educate members in the art of videography for the purpose of complementing still images or producing stand alone videos to document an event or occasion. No previous training is necessary.

The Videography Meetings involve presentations on some aspect of Videography that will assist members to enhance their skills at planning, producing and editing videos. All skill levels are welcome.

Short videos filmed by participants are presented and critiqued to help with the learning process. Equipment information and techniques are shared and a very informal and helpful environment lends to helping everyone improve their skill level
